Founder Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am Anandi, the founder of Little Chalks Preschool, and it is my utmost pleasure to welcome you to our nurturing learning community.
At Little Chalks, we strive to create a holistic learning experience that fosters the growth of each child academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in the importance of play-based learning, where children can explore, imagine, and discover their own capabilities.
Programs
Our programs are designed to build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, creativity, and critical thinking. We offer PlayGroup, Nursery, Jr.KG, Sr.KG, and Parent-Toddler programs to suit the developmental needs of your child.
IEP-Individual Education Program
Considering the overall objectives and end-of-year development, we believe no two children are the same. Sometimes, the beginning point of learning and the pace of learning can be different for different children. So an Individual Education Programme is made for each child and shared with the parents. The teachers then may modify their teaching to meet the needs of individual learners to ensure that they achieve the same competence by the end of the year.
Learning Space- It's Different
The latest research around the world shows that the learning environment, colours of the rooms, displays on the walls and other objects in the class strongly impact student learning. Light colours have a calming effect, encourage student involvement in learning and stimulate understanding. On the other hand, bright colours such as deep blue, red, orange etc. overstimulate and may cause anxiety and restlessness.
Keeping this in mind, the Little Chalks learning spaces are designed with colours that soothe, create a cheerful atmosphere and evoke feelings of home. It is designed to be a home-like setting so that children feel comfortable right away.
Mission
We are delighted to have you and promise that the time spent by your precious children here will be the most beautiful and memorable part of their lives. This is our mission. We believe that all children, even as young as a year old, must be treated with respect and their opinions and thoughts must be valued. Children also have specific abilities and needs at this age. We also believe that all children are smart and intelligent and can learn so much in a suitable learning environment. These beliefs guide all our interactions with our children, in the way we design the day, choose what to teach and make decisions on how to teach.
